Stupid question, is lfie transfer vital to this build? tried it, but i didnt have life transfer, and i couldnt kill a single person

Uhm yeah. It's 7 or 8 degen for 12 seconds: that's 60% better than Conjure Phantasm, plus it gives you regen.
Personally, I've gone for a hybrid approach: I've dropped all Illusion, upped Curses and put some Inspiration in.
I still use Life Transfer, Siphon and Parasitic, but Faintheartedness is now 30 seconds @ 3 degen, which is a big improvement. I then put stuff like shadow strike, desecrate enchantments and drain enchantment for AOE/spike damage and energy management (plus removes breeze)

I can't imagine why it would be. Conjure Phantasm + Phantom Pain + Life Siphon or Faintheartedness will max out your target's degen. Adding Life Transfer on top of that won't kill them any faster, unless they use a regen skill. Most of which you could defeat more easily with Rend Enchantments.
I guess Life Transfer would make it somewhat easier to degen multiple targets, but not by a lot.

...and if you stop maxing out illusion, then suddenly getting Curses up to 11+1 make much more sense from an efficiency point of view. Sure, you won't get the semi-spike of 5 degen, but you may find that getting a consistent longer-duration degen from Curses more than makes up for it. Well, that's what I've found. I miss PP a bit, but I enjoy Faintheartedness 50% more

How are you gonna put points on Fast casting when he is a N/Me...Fast Casting is for Mesmer Primary class..Maybe you where thinking he was Me/N. anyway, just wanted to clear that up..

is there any reason not to make this build as a Me/N to get fast casting, since soul reaping isn't very good in pvp anyway? did i miss something?

Sol was suggesting that the build would work better if it were Me/N. Key word "if".

With Mesmer primary, you don't get to use Necromancer runes to increase the effectiveness of your main damage sources, Blood and Curses.

This build Is the ownage necro build. A shame it probably wouldnt work in tombs. 8 degen necros going for different targets?

i dont understand how that works cuz i try to degen with alot and theres no max, their health just drops even faster and its funny when they cast troll ungeant or healing breeze cuz then the degens kick in and it doesnt save them

10 pips is the maximum the game displays, but it can be more than that in the way of their health going down faster. Spectral Agony on you without infused armour is moe than 10 degen, but it displays 10 pips.
Anywho, I might have to try this out now, once I get a bit more faction. It looks pretty cool though. I Think I'll try the barbed-signet one though, as I don't care too much for parasatic bond.
